The Lammershoek sweetheart. A youthful wine with lots of character.

IN THE VINEYARD & VINIFICATION

Farmed dry-land, thus not irrigated. There are two different blocks on the property.

Half of the grapes were fully and the other half partially destemmed. Fermented in 2500l foudres and in old 500l French oak barrels. Aged for 11 months.

Blended and bottled after the aging process.

 

COLOUR: Light Ruby Colour

NOSE: Ground white pepper flavour rounded off with raspberry, cherry, strawberry and a hint of cinnamon.

PALATE: Surprising structured palate with robust tannins, juicy and delicious mouthfeel.

GRAPES: 100% Grenache

ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13.5%   Residual Sugar: 1.6g/l    PH: 3.64  Total Acidity: 5.4g/l
